This place lives up to its name. The view speaks for itself! The room was very nice with good wifi and a nice flat screen TV to watch local channels or even YouTube. Complementary coca tea was very nice and necessary to help one adjust to the high altitude of about 3,500 meters. Plaza de Armas is just a short walk downhill. There is a shared kitchen and even a washing machine to do laundry. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. I highly recommend Casa Mirador. Granted this is a bit more than I generally spend at $18/night. Packing light is a must because you must walk and climb stairs to access this location.

I primarily travel solo but you don't have to to enjoy this channel. Working as a river guide during summers in North America I don't earn a lot of money and live close to the federal poverty level. In spite of this I live a rich life on a frugal budget. Curious about how I can travel so light? Want to know more about the gear I carry abroad on my extend trips in Latin America? Here's your chance dig into my Amazon shop for an inside look. If you make purchases via this shop I will get a very small commission but it will not increase your price what so ever.
