10th Annual Hot Springs Motorcycle Weekend was another flawless production by Buncombe CBA. James did an excellent job leading the security volunteers. This year people games were added for Friday evening in addition to the bike games on Saturday. I rode into the campground near noon; I did not encounter any law enforcement along my lidless ride across the North Carolina Mountains to or from Hot Springs. I was greeted warmly at the gate by the CBA volunteers. Michael Crew and our NWSC chapter had a nice campsite prepared near the bandstand.

Thursday evening I met Cliff, Missy, and Anita near Saluda. I narrowly missed another pal that had to go fishing. We drank a few beers and relaxed near the river. Missy worked hard to make sure neither Cliff nor I got a speeding ticket on the ride to Hot Springs.

I especially enjoyed meeting readers of the ezine that came by to say hello during the weekend.
