Trip & Oklahoma Statehouse

The ride to Oklahoma City was by no means dull. My newly repaired and warranted bike lost its shifter but by sheer luck the level got hung up on the floorboard as you can see below. Fathertime and Sammie rode with me most of the way to OKC. Thursday morning a small group from the Carolinas rode to visit the Statehouse. The capitol was really grand with the new dome and interesting paintings. Seems the artist painted in a few friends and family members into his paintings... and possibly one biker. I was especially impressed by the glass cage the press is kept in both house of the legislature; South Carolina needs the same to stop certain members of our press from illegally lobbying on the floor of the senate.
