Kona had historical sites including the site pictured below where the bodies of kings were prepared for inturnment. I met a friendly soul at the Hard Rock Cafe that read about this web site in Biker Magazine. I noticed lava high in iron rusting in the surf. Kona is the place to find coffee but I found Hilo more interesting.
