Lidless Tour of Fall Foliage in Western North Carolina
Photos and article by FastFred Ruddock, October 21, 2006
A lidless ride to Western North Carolina began
this adventure. A long 8 mile hike and some climbing got
us near the Narrows of the Green River. The sights and sounds
can not be explained but only experienced. The leaves are
near the peak of the season in the southern appalachian
mountains. After a brief rest following the hike we went
to the Hawg Riding Fools Hill Climb in Lake Lure.
