Legislative Meeting and Bad Bob Hospital Visit

I found Bad Bob in high spirits despite his serious injuries prior to our legislative meeting. Bob would have been much happier at our legislative meeting than the hospital if he had the choice. The ABATE of SC Legislative meeting was very professional and well organized; everyone present brought positive attitudes and productive ideas. Frankie Nelson created an effective agenda and fine handouts. After our meeting many members rode to Bob's hospital room to visit and share well wishes.

Sunday morning I felt a bit worst for the wear but rode early to take a nice walk along the river prior to a fine meal at Tios behind the South Carolina State Capitol Complex. The wet burrito at Tios is a must have item; I prefer the chicken wet burrito. After my meal I took one more ride to Richland Memorial to see my friend Bad Bob before returning to Charleston. Bad Bob is one of a select few willing to join me on many lidless rides in Western North Carolina. I reckon he will be riding those mountain roads again after he completes his long road to recovery.
