Quadruple Header Motorcycle RunPhotos and article by FastFred Ruddock, July 27-29, 2007 What a long strange trip I enjoyed as I rode the Carolinas meeting with Biker Ezine readers and ABATE members at four events. The first event was the Pickens Dice Run; Many motorcycles filled the parking lot by 7 PM in spite of light rain. The second event the same evening was the Joey Mathis Benefit in Cowpens. Saturday the ride lead to Riders Roost to met other MRO members. Despite a few showers along the ride camping at Riders Roost was dry. Sunday Chesnee's Main Street was filled with antique motorcycles. This run racked up over 900 miles in three days. A few side trips and historical sites were visited alon gthe way including Campbell's Bridge and Mcgalliard Mill and Falls. |
